Guest guest
Wonderful news Deanne!!! Congrats. Maybe now you should follow up with this derm and have him/her refer you to an environmental allergist.... because if you can have that severe a reaaction to a product - you most likely have other chemical senstivities as well. I too got into serious trouble using pantiliners every single day , all day, for incontinence for years before vv struck. I don't anymore - I just keep changing underwear AND I don't apply any topical to my girl parts without first patch testing it on my arm- like the allergist showed me. I am really happy for you. Don't let go of this improvement and try to follow it through for chemical allergy testing. Dusty Update Hello Everyone, My name is Deanne, and I have posted to this group several times about my condition. I have had ulcers all over my vulva since last November and just last week, I came to the end of my rope with the pain. I went to a wonderful dermatoligist that diagnosed me with what he thought it to be contact dermatitis. He was right! I have been using VAGISIL on this condition since I have had it...combined with a pad that only made the condition worse...a vicious cycle. My only suggestion is DON'T USE VAGISIL! My Derm took me off it, gave me Valtrex (even though I didn't have Herpes) to heal up the ulcers, and put me on Prednizone for 3 weeks. The only thing I put down there is Aquaphor (wonderful product!) and in just one week I am almost healed! I know that some of you have other conditions that are different, but the fact that I know what is wrong with me is so wonderful...I had one Dr. tell me a few weeks ago that she had never seen anything like it! Now I know better..no more Vagisil...not even a little. I would not wish this condition on my worsed enemy. Thanks for listening, and my Prayers are with all of you having to endure the pain of vulvar problems. Hugs to all, Deanne **IF REPLYING TO THIS POST, PLEASE REMOVE ORIGINAL POST, THANKS** Our HOME page is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisorders to search our archives, files, articles, etc. ***

Guest guest
Well, I have the sleeves with four slots per day and holding lots of pills. However, Levaquin made it not work as I needed five. Too many pills that can't be within an hour or two of others. Need a computer program. I mean this one can't be taken within an hour of anything and none of these near anything for acid, like Nexium, and this not near food-Nexium.....its way too complicated. > > > > An update on my status (good News) > > I went for my 48 week visit on the Pirfenidone study and had my PFT > > and 6 Minute Walk Test. Guest guest
Ken, That sounds extremely positive...of course you wouldn't be told if you were on the drug or a placebo BUT it sounds encouraging doesn't it! Keep it going up, Up, UP! Cheers, in Oz>> An update on my status (good News)> I went for my 48 week visit on the Pirfenidone study and had my PFT> and 6 Minute Walk Test.
