Hi Lou,

I have been on prednisone for 12 years. Just this last year my lung

doc, Dr. Raghu, put me on that same antibiotic. It is supposed to

protect from some infections. It didn't keep me out of the hospital

in November when I developed pneumonia and it also doesn't keep me

from yeast infections and thrush (actually works with the prednisone

to cause them). Oh well, I just tell myself to imagine how bad it

would be if I didn't take it! lol.

Take care,

Kathie, NSIP '96, PHA

heard of bactrim antibiotic. Have you taken it the entire time or

just when you are sick? Your pulmo sounds wonderful and I am glad

you are enjoying beautiful weather-
