Oh I do understand, I have never stayed in a hospital more than 5 days foe anything, mainly because of the lousy beds.I hope you get the memory foam. I have just a pad that is 2" thick and it makes all the difference in the world.I have always threatened with my #10 skillet when he goes to sleep. He has been pretty nice. I hope Apria gets their 666666666 ears chewed a lot today. so unbelievable.  Take care of you. Peggy,I woke up and immediatly realized that the air was not blowing up my nose at gale force.  I have Edna right by my bed.  Did I use her...no.  Did I use my emergency alert doo-lolly...no.  I got up and rushed into his bedroom and tried to knock him into conciousness.  By that time I WAS in trouble.  Then, I hooked Edna up. The bed....oh you mean the torture machine.  They brought me a new mattress.  It is an Invacare Deluxe.  Lordy, this is deluxe???!  I am talking to the people where Beth got her Memory Foam Mattress.  I just need to know that it will bend with the bed.  I can get one for under $300.   We took the APP pad off and that helped.  Whatever they use that thing for, it is dreadful.  They offered me a gel topper...I looked at the picture.  It looks like a raft.  Oh, I don't think so. Who comes up with this stuff?  Maybe there are people in this world who like to sleep on plastic and sweat like pigs all night.  It ain't me!Hugs, Joyce D.PULMONARY FIBROSIS/LUPUS 1997    BRONCHIECTASIS 2004   INDIANA 2 COR. 12:10   ....when I am weak, then I am strong.> > > I say it, and sayit, and say it.....> > I need a wife.
