Guest guest Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 hey mama, i have now went 16 days without a cigerette. thank god for patches! i went 12 hrs without a patch , then i had to put one on....didn't want to mess up...so how is everything? about the prom dress, that is the second outfit i made her for her proms.....junior prom was a oriental outfit,, mardis gras theme....both proms she went by herself.....i also crocheted her shawl to go with her gown....i also quilt, knit, embrodiery and do canning. and i make greeting cards and scrapbooking....and i love to read! what are your hobbies? > > Tammy...I looked at your pictures. How is your husband doing with smoking around YOU? Since the arthritis has gotten worse in my hands I don't do all I used to. I love to crochet, embroidery, I do cards and read a lot. I used to can shelves and shelves of goodies out of our garden and buy fruit to can but that's way back in the day! lol. I don't do many hobbies now...arthritis. When the girls were small I used to sew cute little (easy) dresses for them. I enjoyed the sewing too. It must have been hard for your daughter to go to prom alone. Even in a nice dress. When I was younger girls wanted a DATE for prom! And hated going alone. Well stay busy with all you do and your fingers won't want a cigarette in them. I can see why you have a hard time being mean to your hubby about the smoking. He just has such a sweet face and is probably a really sweet guy. Still....gotta be tough.
