Hi Sandie, I agree with Bruce recommendations. Believe it or not, at one point in my life dr's were not listening, telling me you are too young to have this or that etc, to the point were I lost 50 pounds in 2 weeks and still telling me there was nothing wrong. At the time I was also suffering from severe Migraines Headaches.

Told them if you're not ready to help me just tell me right here & right now, so I could look for treatment somewhere else. I did come down to the US. I'm not recommending in any shape of form you come down to Canada....

In land, the Hopkins Hospital....I will look for you for the website later, to give it to you...They have a Department were you can send all your information pertaining to the disease you're looking answers too....(including all tests etc....) there's a cost of $800.00.

Over the summer I was looking into it....! With one of my dr's, before seeing him for a different disease, I sent an express letter, voicing my frustrations, this is what I was diagnosed with, can you help me, if yes...here's my phone #. He did!

I'll give you a example of a story that made headline news, here in Canada a few years ago....Over here we are short of family dr's....there was a couple who needed urgently a family dr to make home visits, because they couldn't go to the office. The family dr's that were available they were just refusing etc...So what the wife decided to do and I admire her courage/strength, she put an add in the local newspaper "Urgently looking for a family dr with some other information". Within the day, she received a call from a family dr and said to her I'm willing to provide my services, how can I help you....

Ok....I would look for a primary physician in a large practice as

they do seem to monitor each other at least some. Spill your guts to

him and beg for help. Let him feel the pain we all do. Make sure you

get an extended appointment. Share all your frustrations. I know it

seems like starting over at the beginning. But sometimes we take a

turn that gets us so off track we need to.

Personally at my age, I'd look for an experienced primary too, not

too young. I do like young people, but they can't relate generally to

aging or the magnitude of health issues we face as well.

Or, if there is another hospital near you....I don't know where you

are.....find a doctor there. But still I think a very good primary

could help point you. Just let everything flow out when you're with

him. I know sometimes we're much too in control of our emotions with

our doctors and they don't see our desparation.

Well Irene thats a good story but I am in debt enough and dont have a

spare 800.00 and to put an ad in the papere here I cant imagine what

I would get then! Oh I just couldnt imagine.
