...is there an available pulmonologist in your area, or close enough to drive? That will be important for you to find one.

For pictures, go to Create Album and follow directions there-on. Leanne can tell you how to navigate stuff on the web site.

HI, everyone looks wonderful in their pictures. I cant figure out how to do it, otherwise I would add some. I will ask my son to come over and help me.I feel bad that so many of us arent feeling well starting off the new year. Bruce have a nice trip but please dont overdue it.I want to welcome all the new people.I am having a real problem with SOB this week, when I saw the pulm Dr in dec he told me I didnt need an oximeter or rehab he can hear my lungs are the same but I am not feeling the same since the bad cold in oct. I think the Lexapro is making me more depressed so I am not going to take it.I see my GP on tuesday so I will discuss all of this with him he knows quite abit about IPF as his dad died just before Christmas from it.I read all your posts and pray for everyone . Demand that you get more infortmation and direction. Take a list of

things you want from the visit and make sure you get them. You

shouldn't have to push for information, but we all do.

Also, as to your Lexapro. Actually with many psychiatric meds, a

reaction sometimes is the opposite of what they are designed or part

of it. A lot of these meds are try until you find whats right for

you. If Lexapro isn't make sure your doctor knows and try something

that might. Since Lexapro is designed for depression and anxiety, its

quite possible it was a bit much on the anxiety side for you and

didn't hit the depression side so just made you more depressed. But,

don't give up because one doesn't help. Now, of course, I'm on record

as believing too that anyone with a disease such as ours needs a

counselor. But thats strictly a personal opinion somewhat biased

based on what mine has done for me.

I know I didn't either. It is a connective tissue

disease. How is your weather it was 61 here today.

It looked like you had lots of snow or rain.

...I'm not sure what a "connective tissue disease" is either.

It's been cold and rainy for us in Oregon. Temps in the 30s.

The article that I read from Mayo says that Crest is actually Sclerderma. It is good that you are seeing a Rheumatologist this week. A definate diagnosis would change your treatment.

Let us know. God's blessings.
