Guest guest
Dee, WOW, It's been 4 hours with the atropine in and my burning is completely gone. I cant believe it worked this fast *smile* I couldnt decide wich one to use so I started with the Atropine/Keto/Bio cocktail. Now the other 2 meds. I got was the E and T. There both in seperate jars. The E & T came copmounded in liquigel. Its says on the jar Apply vaginally externally. I wonder if thats enough though. I need it internally. hmmm I guess I'll have to call Pete back to see if I could apply some on a Q-tip and put some inside. It's hard to judge how much jel to use but since my co-pay on this is only $5 im going to use a large amount for the first week or so. Im so excited about the Atropine cocktail. Im not burning im so happy. I cant believe it. The only problem lies in each suppository is $5 and for 30 a months supply it would run $150. Im gonna call the medical ins. and see if theres anyway this can be covered. Finally some relief. Maybe I'll be able to have sex soon hee hee. I cant imagine. It's been 6 years since Ive been able to have penatration. So im very much looking forward to that. Guest guest
Yahoo!!!!! Good for you........ that's wonderful news - no burning, finally!!!!!! Tami, I seem to remember that Atropine can cause glands to dry out. There was a gal on this list who used the stuff religously and found she had to back off to lower dosages because for her particular body chemistry her script was drying to the glands. Anyway, keep that in mind when you call Pete and ask him what he knows about that and how you should handle it should it come up. From what I remember (think it was Debbie Tiger) she just cut back on her applications. Hopefully, I have the wrong product!!! Re: I got my meds woo hoo+the atropine works! Guest guest
HI Tami..... I am just so tickled for you hon..... and can hear the joy in your voice (or writings I should say).... again I am just so happy that Pete at Bellevue was able to help. I've used him for 7 years now and I still think he's one of the best compounding specialists out there (and so knowledgeable about many things)... I apologize for not remembering you had the hysterectomy. DUH.....sometimes this brain of mine I wonder where it went? ha ha But gosh in your case then ''I'd" definitely consider inserting what you can of the Estradiol. (but again that's just my opinion and what 'I'd' do) Gosh it's too bad you don't have a small applicator to insert it with. You know what? Oooooooo Oooooooooooooooh ahhhhhh HA ha ha I just thought of something *chuckle*...... The reg. testosterone I'm using now as topical for my HRT replacement (a bit different than what's put on the vulva (base ingredients & potency) and normally I use a sublingual which melts under the tongue but thought last time, 'what the hell' I'll try a topical systemic form. Anyway.... with that T. prescription (from Pete) I get the tiniest sliver of an applicator, looks only about as big as a thermometer except it's hollow.... it looks like a hypodermic needle a little bit, with a plunger...... and I use that to draw up the amt. of T gel needed to put on my arms, or behind my knees...(again mine is for HRT) so it's an amount about the size of a quarter. Just a side note, my T. for the vulva is in a tube like toothpaste, (it's a different make up & potency than what I use for HRT replacement.) but you do have to ask for that, so next time hon do that.) BUT..... what I'm thinking is that since that applicator is so narrow (even narrower than a straw) I'll bet 99.9% you could use that as an applicator to get some E. up inside the vag. canal and I'd definitely be asking Pete to send me one. *grin*.... He'll know if you tell him it's the applicator used for topical T. for Hormone replacement. Tell him the one Dee uses, LOL About the suppositories of the atropine? Maybe you can try halving them eh? (as well as to not have that drying effect) Or as Ora suggested possibly making up your own, but in a way since those are working so well and it's more than just the atropine (I see an antifungal in there too) I think "I'd' stick with Petes at least till much further down the road. But hon........ *grin* BUT BUT BUT........ Now girlfriend,........ I know you can't wait to put everything to the test,*chuckle* and do the big nasty as my daughter teases *chuckle* but if you can't insert a reg. applicator how are you gonna handle a big Willy? haha But bet you will down the road. Take care. Hugs Dee~ PS: Oh hon one more thought with hearing you say about using your electrical vaginal stimulator tonight? I sure don't mean to be a party pooper ..... but I don't think I'd even consider that for quite a while.. You surely don't want to get those nerves 'over stimulated' or misfiring again hon and I've seen that happen or read about it with masturbation & V pain. I'd really just not stir up things for a while... SO do give that some thought ok? Just my thoughts there.
