Did your doctor mention any alternative possibilities?? Other than UTI, I

mean? And have you tried positive reinforcement?? I found that with my sons

(now 10 and 13) rewards worked better than punishment for just about

anything. We set up a system with the end goal being a treat they wouldn't

normally get. We used sticker books and they received a specified # of

stickers for good behavior each day (or each afternoon, or hour- whatever

worked) and when they had a certain # of stickers, (usually 50 or so) they

would get an afternoon at Chuckie Cheese, or the movies, etc. We still use

this system, sans the stickers. Remember children's' maturity levels vary-

and if she really is physically able to control this, it will end when the

peer pressure gets too tough.

(BTW- is she dry at night?)
