Guest guest
Funny you mention this. I was just watching a re-run of Law & Order - the sex crimes one. And they had the old rich guy paying millions of dollars to this doctor who was impregnating women who were in coma and then doing an abortion for the tissue for stem cells because if you could find a perfect match you could replace that in the brain of some one who has parkinsons disease and possibly cure them. Of course they were discovered which lead my son to ask about stem cell research and what its for. He said is that like those 20 or something odd number of banks they have left to use and once they are gone then there is no more. I said yeah basically. the outlawed stem cell cell research unless it meets the presidents rules. He said why? I said I guess ethical reasons, I honestly dont know alot about it but I do know its a needed research and people should be allowed to donate to it I think some day it will bring great discoveries just like it has already. Sandie Ps.thanks for sharing it! > > Hi all, > > Here are a couple of links to articles about advances in stem cell > research and organ regeneration that I found interesting. > > > http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/science/article3168158.ece > > > http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/article3177646.ece > > > > Peace > > UIP/LCH 5.06 CA >
