Guest guest Posted October 16, 2000 Report Share Posted October 16, 2000 Hi Margie, Yeah, that's one of the reasons that I've decided against the RNY - the body is so amazingly adaptable. If I were to keep on eating sweets, I'd be back in the same boat in no time. I'll take the added malabsorption of the DS and continue working on the emotional side of my eating - I'm convinced that's a much better bet for me. I do worry about my sister - I am afraid that at the rate she's going she'll end up with a revision to a DS for the same reason that you did. BTW, thanks for all of your contributions to this list - you are awesome!!
