It is just their little diaphragm learning how to work in conjunction with breathing and nursing. He'll outgrown them. >Wendi - Thanks for asking - yes, things are going very well. Guest guest Posted May 4, 1999 Report Share Posted May 4, 1999 , hiccups are just part of baby life. Some babies get them bad some don't. You can switching sides if it seems like he is choking. Swallowing air can help give them hiccups. You also can leave him propped up a little so that he isn't bringing up milk with his hiccups and the milk will be able to digest easier. (Just for about 20 min after he eats) Other than that there isn't much you can do. I am glad everything is going well. Wendi going well - hiccups?
