Guest guest
that's what the nurses at the hospital told me "My blood pressure is so high because my I'm in severe pain and because I'm not feeling Well". The dr's are too afraid to put on me Blood Pressure medications because at the same time my BP can go as low as 90/66. So they are just monitoring it for the moment. Well I have felt pain for the last 8 years now take daily pain medication and my pain meds are a little stronger then Tylenol#3 and I do take it several times a day to just function. But I would think that is so odd! Sandie > > Hi Sandie, > I'm glad you kept the appointment with the Neuro! He will know exactly on what medications you need to be on for the Migraines Headaches. For my Migraines Headaches, I take Tylenol#3, medication that was prescribed to me, by my specialist is called Midrin. It's not available in Canada though. It's a medication that's only available in the US and my dr is in the US too. > > I don't have any Blood Pressure problems, as it was explained to me because the body is feeling pain and I'm not feeling well, your blood pressure will be affected. Guest guest
Irene Actually thats one of the few logical things here ER nurses may have said. Thats one reason they keep monitoring in ER, to see if it drops. They have found over a period of time that when one arrives, in triage, you do tend to run high. Once back and relaxed it gradually drops. In fact, many people have theirs to rise on doctors appointments. I once had two appointments, same practice, different doctors, same day. My pressure was high for the first one, perfectly its normal lower self an hour later upstairs. So, ER, pain, the entire experience, getting there, waiting and getting angrier every minute you're ignored, all do tend to often give high readings. Last time I was in, my first reading was something like 157/108 (lung pain) when my normal reading varies from 110/70 to 130/84 worst case. > > > > Hi Sandie, > > I'm glad you kept the appointment with the Neuro!
