Guest guest
Hi Deborah -- You may realize after surgery that you're really a carbohydrate addict and you will lose your craving for it as you pump up your protein intake. Happened for me, and I'm glad of it. Read those nutrition labels. I took them for granted until I traveled to Toronto several times this year (going back again the 1st week of Dec!) and looked for one and ... it wasn't there! Take Liquid Coffeemate. I used the non-fat version for years. Now I choose the Lite. Why? because it has the lowest amount of carbs. Fat doesn't matter to me now. My eating goes like this: protein good, sugar bad, nothing else matters. Hope this helps. Probably it is all nitpicking, I hear after the surgery most > people want to eat more protein, but as a before surgery carbohydrate lover > I am curious. > > Deborah
