The thing with exercise is to do it through the stiffness and soreness but to STOP at pain. Hard to do when the pain is there to start with. We would take his schedule and go through it, in order, from classroom to classroom. See the cafeteria, library and other too. If there weren't too many parents around so I had a chance to talk to teacher, I mentioned my son had a 504 Plan, my concerns for the start of school, etc. (as you might mention the noise or changing classes you'd be worried about) Found it really helped us to get to go around the school before it started. > > Everyone had been so nice, he is going to middle schoo where they change classes. he does have IEP done. just longer time for test that all. i can so scarced if he going to melt with all noise in hall, rouhgtteen change and be bullied what kind of promram can i put im in scince he can not amke friends and support groups thanks tammu > Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hadn't thought about the noise in the hallways..dang..noise is a big issue for us. Besides that, I think middle school will be SOOOOOOOOOO much better than elementary school. There is a set schedule. A chance to get up and walk every 42 minutes. A wider variety of kids. Ability level classes. More than ONE teacher all year.
