Hi all,

I was up visiting Beth last night at the hospital in Bowling Green, and

found out that Jayne K. had been readmitted. If you recall, she had surgery

a little less than 4 weeks ago. She was a revision and had some excess

bleeding and some other complications and spent about 2.5 weeks in the

hospital. She went home finally and has just now been readmitted with an

infection at her drainage point. She has an abcess and will be treated with

antibiotics. She seems to be in really good spirits. She looked GREAT

actually! She has lost 30 lbs and she said that prior to this infection,

she was really starting to enjoy things. Hopefully this will be a very short

setback for her. Anyway.. I thought some of you might want to say a prayer

for her. Or give her a call at the Wood County Hospital, in Bowling Green

Ohio. ().

Beth continues to do well. She had her first BM yesterday morning!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!! She had the barium swallow this morning and should be able

to start on jello and other clear stuff today. She has had nothing but ice

chips since last Tuesday. She is still running a slight fever, but is up

walking around and hoping for a shower!! The epidural should be coming out

today or tomorrow and then she will be going home soon! I know she is ready!
