Yellow,

Eyes that are sensitive to light and pain when you move your head around sounds suspiciously like a migraine to me. Migraines are NOT headaches. Anyone who's ever suffered one knows the difference. Migraines can also feature nausea and dizziness, and excruciating pain on one side of the head with sensitivity to light, noise, and strong odours. I'm not sure how they're diagnosed but you might ask your doctor about the possibility. They do make medications specifically for migraine relief (most of the OTC ones seem to use "migraine" as synonymous with "really bad headache" when they're not the same thing at all).

They're diagnosed by the symptoms. There is no "test" for diagnosis. The major drug prescribed is Imitrex and it works beautifully. You can also have a "migraine" without the headache -- it's a syndrome. Not everyone has all the same symptoms but there are several that are classic and present in everyone -- one-sided pain, light sensitivity, nausea, etc.

does anyone have weak or painful eyes?

I have dry eye syndrome as well. I have graves disease and

use gel at night and drops for daytime. Its a pain, I used

to wear a head band over them before cea and the hot

flushes. Wally

I have dry eye syndrome. It causes my vision to blur and it feels like I have something in my eyes.

I also have dry eye syndrome and yes it is painful much of the time.

I have to put eyedrops in my eyes in the mornings when I wake up

because I can't open my eyelids and also off and on during the day.

It feels as though I have sand in my eyes quiet often. Have you

seen your doctor about your eyes? If you haven't you should.....Joyce

Hi Sharon,

My dry eyes have been bothering me a lot since I have been outdoors

more so I have been putting vaseline on my eyelids near the lashes

after I soak them in the morning and it seems to help a little

My eyes are starting to get very dry and blurry.

But it isn't all the time. It comes and goes.
