Guest guest
Tom:...My gleason score was 7.....and my psa was 15 last check..and rising...so anxious to get the radiation treatment done. ! To: ProstateCancerSupport Sent: Wed, April 28, 2010 7:55:47 PMSubject: My MD Visit Hi Guys, I went to my four month treatment of Lupron (second shot). They told me my PSA was down to 0.6 for 4.6. The lowest it has been since my prostrate was removed 11 yrs. ago. After radiation my PSA was around 0.9 and was around 1.0 to 1.9 for most of that period. Oh I was real angry they did not kill it all. Anyway he said with my Gleason 7 that desease process could be more like 10 to 15 yrs. with present medicine. I know there are no guarantees. Who know I could go crazy and start eating red meat again or the cancer adjust to no testosterone. I am grateful to you guys for giving me the reality of my desease and helping adjust to my new realities and of course your patience. So I will take it as good news and hope it turns out that I have a few more quality years. Thanks Again Guys, Tom W. PS As always your impressions are welcome. Oh your impressions about Provenge- 2 more good years or what. Oh I still would like my sex drive back.
