Bruce: I tend to be on the same regimen as you described for

yourself. I usually only eat one meal per day. I may sometimes eat a

little more, but generally just the one meal. My snacks, I guess, are

what keep me going, and I generally try to make them healthy, but

cookies are yummy too! I am more aware of what I am eating, rather

than when or how often. After Prednisone and the weight gain, not to

mention inherited heart disease, I have to try to eat right. Anyway,

I am usually too tired to eat more than one meal!

Oh I am bad too. I eat a bowl of life cereal around 830 in the morning

and then I can go until dinner time and still not eat much.

yet I dont seem to lose weight, isnt that odd! and I feel full even

when I dont eat.

Like this morning was starving so husband and I went to breakfast on

our way to the store, had a french toast platter. One piece of toast

anda few bits of egg, 1 sausage and that was it couldnt eat anything

more. Said that it comes to that!

Sandie

they do say several small meals through out the day are better for you

with weight, and also for the lungs especially for oour group!

Bruce...we usually have a good breakfast...like hot cereal, juice, maybe some yummy Apple Strudel toast and coffee. Occasionally we feel like bacon/eggs thing. Lunch is usually soup and 1/2 sandwich or something we can still stand from the 'fridge. Boy, from there, dinner is up for grabs. We often cook but also tend to 'snack' too.

I actually eat not a lot, no weight loss. Rich stays stable and he exercises every day.

My problem is I have NO appetite. I could go a couple of days and not eat a bite...never hungry. But Rich says, "Ya gotta eat something!"

We sure are all different huh.

I think age plays a part too. Other folks "my age" don't have much of an appetite either. But hey, you're a young'un.

How many meals a day?

Just curious as to how the rest of you are eating and I imagine it varies widely by stage and level of activity. However, I haven't eaten more than two meals in any day in as long as I can remember and many days just eat one. I know someone else here who eats very little but while I need to lose weight and aren't, she doesn't need to and is. Of course, I know, even with my few meals I need to get back on a decent diet.So do you eat three normal meals, more small ones, fewer normal ones, lots, very little?

Sometimes I just don't get hungry and just forget about eating.

Right now 3 nutritional meals and a small snack in the afternoon then

yoa light yogurt with my nightime meds. I have to keep my carbs right

to try to get my Type II in line. Lots of good veggies and fresh

Wow. I feel like a glutton. I eat three meals a day. A light breakfast, example: 1/2 bagel with cream cheese or 1/2 an english muffin with peanut butter and banana. lunch soup and sandwich and fruit or veggies and my husband likes a decent dinner so we have meat/fish/chicken salad, veggies sometimes potato and bread. Not a glutton....you just do what you should. That reminds me, I

probably should eat something. But I did have one meal earlier. Guess

I need to fix another.
