Guest guest
My dermatologist has prescribed a drug called " Dixarit " , the main ingredient being clonidine. I am only twenty one and am ofcourse already taking anti-biotics. I tried taking this drug for a fortnight and found that not much was happening (although I have heard that you are to continue taking it for a month for any real effect)I ceased taking it though because I have heard that this is a drug called a vasilodator (?) and that can actually worsen rosacea, I am really apprehensive about taking it for this reason as well as being cautious about taking too many drugs. I have been given beta-blockers before to control my flushing but discontinued using them. I don't understand why my dermatologist would have given me a vasioldator drug to keep my rosacea under control. Does anyone have any advice?
