Guest guest
Hi, I use this a lot to drip yogurt. Makes it very thick. Sometimes I line it with a coffee filter but it's not really necessary. If you don't have enough room to drip it all at once, you can use a metal or mesh strainer lined with unbleached coffee filters. Just dip the yogurt in, cover, put in the fridge and leave overnight or 8 hours. Sometimes I cover it with saran wrap, not always. Hope this helps, Debbie 38 crohn's scd Hi,I've been making yogurt in a Yogourmet machine and it works great.Thing is I'm going through about 5 liters per week. This means I'mmaking yogurt 2-3 times per week. I'm using the Yogourmet bag to drip it (which is why I make 5 liters a week lol). Trying to get thedripped yogurt out of the bag is awkward and messy.Has anyone used the Donvier yogurt cheese maker? It's hard to tellfrom the picture whether it will be easy to get the yogurt out of and to clean: https://www.digestivewellness.com/itempage-1048-24-13-1584.htmlAlso, how would you make yogurt in a food dehydrator like the Excalibur one? Do you have to buy special jars? I don't see any yogurtmaking jars that come with it but it says it can make up to 6 quarts? Thanks,Kat " IBS " (undiagnosed)SCD since 01/23/2008 http://scdkatfood.blogspot.com/
