Allergic Reaction to CT contrast

Following my kidney cancer I was getting CT scans every 6 months until my prostate was removed in 2008. Although I had no apparent reaction to the contrast; it has caused my thyroid to just about stop working. I put on 30 pounds and am now on thyroid meds.

My urologist since is using ultra sounds.All the best!
