Article discusses more than just Provenge it is about cancer drugs. Remember

Provenge cost is about a lifetime limit cost. When you compare it with chemo

and include the cost of treating side effects I think the total cost

difference with chemo, or the other alternatives is the same or less.

I am concerned that what happens to Provenge at CMS could have impact on all

new treatments for cancer. It could also possibly have an impact on

innovation and the decision process that drug companies make to move forward

with them.

I think it is a mistake to think to think that this is just a prostate

cancer issue.
