Hi You have been on my mind since I read your last post. I am so glad

that the PSA is at least lower than before. You sure have been through the

wringer with the darn PSA. Glad that you are going to be able to enjoy the

summer, and will be waiting for the next check in. I do wonder if any of the

supplements you are taking could be wreaking havoc somehow? Just a thought.

week's unexpected quarterly jump from PSA of 1.98 at the end of Feb to 4.92 in

the last week of May. The retest was done only 3 days later but has come in at

3.5 Both myself and Onco very pleased it is down but it is still high for

18months after treatment.

If it's not good then we are talking bone scan and probably further TX. Still

hoping this is some sort of PSA Bounce but yet again in limbo for 3 months.

of the local beach ;-) Today is a glorious sunny 33C. I'll also be upping the

intake of my suppliments. I've just found a cheap supply of Green Tea extract (

2€ for 30 X 400mg tabs) in my local supermarket so will have those together

with turmeric, pomegranate extract and loads of broccoli.

should have done a back-up. :-(

Hi Laurel,

Thanks for the thoughts.

I checked with my Onco re all the suppliments and she reckons all will be safe and can't do any harm but also may not do any good. They couldn't have had an influence on my latest PSA as until last Friday when I got the PSA result of 3.5 I wasn't taking any of them in pill form; the green tea was made up as a hot or cold drink from G'teabags, the pomegranate was juice or fresh/frozen fruit, tumeric was natural spice and broccoli was fresh. It's only after the test that I've started taking any of them in concentrated pill form.

Any plans for a trip this summer? Hope Greg is continuing to do well.

Best regards,

Chris
