I've been using "natural" deoderant since I found about the link to aluminum and Alzheimers, usually the Kiss My Face brand since it works good on me, for years. My paternal grandmother had Alzheimers. I do find I have to take chlorophyll from time to time to help it, especially during the hot summer months here in South Louisiana. Since starting SCD a month ago, I have been having more body odor but am scared to start using Chlorophyll to help since the BTVC website does not address it in the legal/illegal list. Does someone know if it's legal or not?

Hello all,

Just a quick question. I have two girls, 14 and 10 on SCD since New Years and they are experiencing severe under arm odor. The 14 yo seems to have overall body odor just coming through her skin. She is the reason we started SCD for chronic yeast overgrowth and mercury detoxing. This could also be happening in the 10 yo. I picked up some chlorophyll hoping this would nuetralize the odor since it is very embarrasing around their friends. They both use deoderant, of which we have tried several, and bathe daily. Any help?

i must say.. that i relate to this whole thread since i stink!

since i was so medicated over the years i won't go in to detail.. but

lets just say i am thankful my husband has no sense of smell! totally

gross i know! now that i am on scd it feels at times that i am worse

and i have tried so many deoderants from health food stores and

nothing works! i always buy aluminum free (have you ever read about

what actually happens to aluminum that is in DO thats applied to

underarms and where it gets redistributed in body? totally gross) anyhoo-

i thought all these years buying cosmetic/shower products at health

food stores was lesser of the evils also because for like 5 years when

i was younger i had MCS and i have since been very careful- the

severity of the MCS has lessened significantly over the years and on

scd it's like non-existant at times. but, i was looking for face/body

creams and i stumbled upon this company:

i use the salve first under my arms and then i use the spray. the

spray alone does not work for me at all! it is really working for me

AS OF NOW. i don't know if this " miracle " will continue. i can only

hope as i " detox " i will start smelling good or at least not vile!

i found this via a raw foodist place i used to go to a lot before scd

(raw food diet nearly killed me but they are sticklers when it comes

to ingredients and quality- so a couple of weeks ago i decided to

swing by their place and that's how i got acquainted with this line.)

i must say though their stuff is extremely fragrant you kind of have

to like aromatherapy scents in the first place to dig their products.

if you are sensitive to fragrances or have MCS i don't think this

would be good for you at all!
