pain killer helps with cough??

Hi, I just got off the phone with a woman who lives in Georgia and her pulmonologist prescribed Ultram er for her cough - http://www.ultram-er.com/ultram-er/index.html. She said since she's been taking it....no cough. She missed one day and coughed a lot. Don't shoot the messenger - I know it's a narcotic but I thought I would pass it along anyway. It's normally used for chronic pain. Who knows - maybe it could help someone. Leanne uip 1/03 Illinois
