Hi Jodi

I found an inexpensive juicer at Walmart about 12 years ago (long before I needed SCD), and amazingly enough it's still going strong. I thought I'd need to replace it by now [grin]. It's a GE, label says "450-watt juice extractor." As I remember, it was the middle-priced juicer on the shelf at Walmart the day I bought it. Cost about $30.

I found my body rejects vegetable juices (my liver throws out a huge amount of histamine... which means hives), so I just make fruit juice about once a week. I have to dilute a lot, and my body is so picky about juices, so I don't need to juice too often.

The only negative to this juicer is that it is fairly small so I have to do more food prep. to chop the fruit into small enough pieces to fit into the hopper. The larger, more expensive juicers don't require as much food prep. But for my needs this one works well.
