Guest guest
Why would your lab result in Jun be less than 0.05 and now less than 0.13. The last score is is my 1 year score. I am just wondering why it is was different less than from the same lab. I know that it still mean it is still unmeasurable. I know at 1 year, I'm still a rookie and minor changes like this wory me. Guest guest
If a different lab or different methodology was used, that could explain the difference in the results. A retest may be in order. Louis. . . The <0.05 is usually considered undetectable as it should be after a successful surgery. The 0.13 is a measurable PSA reading and concern for worry, especially so soon afterwards. I'd sure call the doc and ask for a retest. And it's a good idea to request a copy of the lab report if possible.
Guest guest
It's relative, Ray. Had the same angst over the least rise in my PSA, early on. Â Now --three years later -- even though month to month -- it hovers between 4 'n 7 (with mets stable), as long as I have no aches or pains, the quality of my life is good 'n I can laugh, I don't freak out.I know the old saying: "If you can keep your head when all about you lose theirs, perhaps you don't understand the problem." Â I understand full well. I'm just thankful for small favors.Keep strong,TDRSubject: PSA Slight riseTo: ProstateCancerSupport Date: Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 4:10 AM Â Why would your lab result in Jun be less than 0.05 and now less than 0.13.
