If I'm doing it right the translation from nmol/L to ng/dl is as follows: 1 " mol " = the molecular weight of a molecule expressed in grams. Testosterone molecular weight = 228.42 (see Wikipedia). Therefore, 10.7 nmol/l: = 10.7 nmol/l * 228.42 grams/mol = 2444 nanograms / liter = 244.4 ng/dl If the normal range is 181 - 772 ng/dl, you're still in the normal range. I don't know what age group the 181-772 typifies. If it's normal for young men, then at age 51, you may be much closer to the middle of the normal range for your age than the value of 244 would otherwise indicate. Whether 244 is low enough to account for a falling PSA I don't know, but my guess is that it's not. If I remember correctly, " castrate " level is often taken to be < 20 ng/dl. You're more than 12 times that level. On the question of your low libido, it's not too surprising in a man who is going through the emotional rollercoaster of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and PSA anxiety. Sex isn't always uppermost on the mind of a man who is in fear of death. I think perhaps that being upset and depressed can also depress your testosterone levels - though I'm not sure about that. So far, it seems to me that the jury is still out on your cancer. Your PSA is higher than we'd like it to be but it has been falling rather than rising and that's obviously good. Best of luck.
