Here in Hambleton, Selby, Yorkshire it is cold and frosty but no snow

We are at home though when we wanted to be with our north west friends in Manchester at the Christie Hospital Prostate Cancer support group meeting. I rang friends across there and they have 8 inches of snow overnight.

Further south they have had a right dollop, we had a very snowy fortnight a week or two ago and no doubt more to come.

We gather that Buffalo and other areas have been really bad, so we must also send best wishes to those affected in the USA and Canada

News showed how bad your weather has been. I hope that everyone is safe andwarm and that you all stay that way. Guess it is time to just playChristmas music, drink some hot spiced tea and watch the snow fall.Kathy Meade
