This was through your biopsy?

Is this a good thing, this diagnosis? I mean, these are treatable and pain can be eliminated right?

Since I posted last week, I found out I do not have HSV at all, thank goodness. It's some type of lichenoid dermatosis, most likely not lichen planus but that's as much as we know at present. I found a link and apparently there is a whole list of these lichenoid dermatoses.

Well, the doctor actually said herpes would have been much easier to treat. She gave me a cortizone ointment to use topically. She's still not sure which of the dermatoses it is so she'll keep looking. My Mom has lichen planus in her mouth and it causes blisters and red, irritated gums for her. This does seem a little different to me. After looking online,I'm still stumped. My doctor seemed to think it might be caused by some type of reaction to a medication... even Tylenol is suspect.
