Guest guest
The ONLY program with funds that is dedicated to the health of Illinois men is being eliminated. The Office of Women's Health saw reductions in their FY2011 budget but they are still getting over $13 million while men are getting zero. This program has only received $297,000 annually for the past 10 years. If you live in Illinois please send a letter today using the link below. If you have friends and family in Illinois ask them to write today. Women are able to get the funds because they act. It is time for the prostate cancer community to show the world that we are powerful also. We need to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Writing a letter to the governor takes only a minute and forwarding to friends and family in Illinois takes only a minute more, less time than it has taken me to write this note. Let's show the Illinois legislature that They need to care about the men in their state just as much as we care about the women. http://capwiz.com/zerocancer/issues/alert/?alertid=15133481 Kathy Meade
