Guest guest
Hi All, I have saved this latest from Labrie under clueless.castration.cowboy in my 'References' folder. No mention of the utility of intermittent hormone blockade. No mention of the successes with androgen cycling techniques for CRPC. No mention of the androgen metabolite 3beta-Adiol (5alpha-androstane-3beta, 17beta, diol) that controls PC growth at all stages through the estrogen receptor beta. No mention of the probable causes of the disease through epigenetic reprogramming (i.e. fetal estrogen imprinting). In short - clueless! I sure am glad there are others like Walsh out there to cancel out the cherry picking. Maybe one day we will get to the truth. My money is on Prins and other spokespeople for the Endocrine Societyhttp://www.endo-society.org/custom_apps/search.cfm?q=prins In the meantime check out the FitCare page below if not already done so, just to see the havoc wreaked on mens' lives by the clueless castration cowboys. Sam. 1. Prog Brain Res. 2010;182:321-41. Hormonal therapy of prostate cancer. Labrie F. Research Center in Molecular Endocrinology, Oncology and Human Genomics, Laval University and Laval University Hospital Research Center (CRCHUL), Quebec, Canada. flabrie@... <snip> .. not worth the bandwidth.
