Guest guest
Hello TenneWelcome. I also tried a pump but even with the ring it still tended to deflate quite quickly. However, I think it does help to get your size back and to reopen the channels. I also took Cialis (20mg twice a week) which is also supposed to help and masturbated most days. It’s taken quite a while (I had radiotherapy as well) but I’m actually getting quite a decent erection now. Actual intercourse is still not quite there but I’m pretty sure it will be and it’s fun trying.Good luck.Bob

Supposedlythey also help with impotence.Assuming that you have a wife to assist you, maybe you can enrollher in working with the pump. She might find it as much fun asyou do and she may be able to do the ring thing better than youcan. It doesn't need to be the rubber band that comes with thepump. She can try anything, even tying a soft shoelace orsomething like that around you.Good luck,Alan
Guest guest
Hi Tenn, I had RP (robotic) Jan. 28, 2010. Incontinence is completely gone (lots of Kegel exercises even now) but impotence remains an issue. I found both the pump and viagra unsatisfactory and went to tri mix. That works great with a little foreplay, and the injections, which I feared, are not worth worrying about. The erection seems to last about 2 hours, so there's no need to rush things after the injection. I have been told the pump does help prevent atrophying of penile tissue, and the viagra helps blood flow through the appropriate nerves to help repair them. Since the tri mix is giving me erections, thus doing the job of the pump, I no longer use the pump. I still take 50mg of viagra four days a week for the nerve repair. There does seem to be some improvement there, but it's very slow. Guest guest
I found that wearing two pairs of cotton undershorts instead of using a pad helped to get me over the psychological dependence on a pad for minor leaks. Guest guest
Guys, once ina while I read about the use predinisone or some of you spell it prednisolone. Is it the same and when is it used for what. I somewhat amazed since it is a form of cortisone and that would seem to feed PCa. Please inform me about its usese and for what. It seems counterproductive. Tom W. Guest guest
Ok, Yes I had already looked that info. on predisone and it said nothing about PCa and cancer and cortizone (ok a form of). Guest guest
I should have worded the below that Prednisone is an immunosuppressant as well as used in combination with other drugs as an immunosuppressant.
