Jodi, Check out www.uclbs.org and www.breakingtheviciouscycle.org The UCLBS site is where the beans article is, and the other site is Krivel's website, which was the original Elaine's website, except that had to stop being webmistress when health issues, not related to her Crohn's, which is in full remission, got to her. Both have some good recipes -- and you'll find Sue's Crackers (aka Krivel Krackers, as I call them) recipes, and her to-die-for double vanilla ice cream. (Sue is 's mom, and I got to meet her and Orin, 's Dad, when I visited Toronto last summer. Wow: I could have stayed a couple months and not had enough time to cover all the recipe ideas and burrough into Sue's fabric library...) — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

Guest guest
Dearest Ones This is a good idea. Because of this very reason is why I started the SCD Pals to connect other SCD Pals and Newbies where they live so they could find the correct foods that are legal on the SCDiet. Some day I will need to turn this job over to some one who would continue connecting Newbies to the SCD Pals. Here are the places I have SCD Pals from The SCDiet world is getting larger every day it seems: SCD Pals that are in USA: ALABAMA, ARIZONA, ARKANSAS, CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, HAWAII, IDAHO, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, NEW MEXICO, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MISSISSIPPI, MINNESOTA, MICHIGAN, MONTANA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NORTH CAROLINA, NORTH DAKOTA, SOUTH CAROLINA, SOUTH DAKOTA, NEW HAMPSURE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, NY CITY, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, OREGON, PENNSYLVANIA, ROAD ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, SOUTH DAKOTA, TENNESSEE, TEXAS, UTAH, VERMONT, VIRGINIA, WASHINGTON D.C., WASHINGTON STATE, WISCONSIN, and WYOMING. SCD Pals that are in AFRICA, ALASKA, ARGENTINA, AUSTRIA, AUSTRALIA, BELGIUM, BRAZIL, CANADA, CHILE, COSTA RICA, CYPRUS, DENMARK, DUTCH, EGYPT, ENGLAND, FINNISH, FRANCE, GERMANY, HOLLAND, INDIAN, INDIA, ICELAND, ISLE OF MAN, ISRAEL, IRELAND, ITALY, KUWAIT, JAPAN, SOUTH AMERICA, LUXEMBOURG, MACEDONIA, MAUI, MEXICO CITY, NEW MEXICO, NETHERLANDS, NORWAY, NEW ZEALAND, PACIFIC AREA, PHILIPPINES, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, RUSSIA, SCOTLAND SASKATCHEWAN, SINGAPORE, SOUTH AMERICA, SPAIN, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND,TANSANIA, and THAILAND. See the place for SCDiet support on * http://www.scdiet.org/ at the top right of the page. Many place over seas to contact. Many people are grateful to know that there are other SCDer's who have been on the SCdiet a year or more to help them where they live. I am getting up in years as Carol F. knows. So some day it will stop unless someone picks it up by getting into my email and pass word to find others and keep it updated each time when needed. Something I ran across in a recipe SOMEWHERE that caught my attention, and I was trying to figure out whether it would end up being somewhat Italian-like (green peppers) or somewhat Mexican-like (green chiles). The recipe called for two large green capsicum. Guest guest
Hi Mara, I think and I may be totally wrong, but I saw Kylie Kwong on her cooking show call pepper " capsicum " . I think she is from Australia!! Jodi > > Where do they call pepper capsicum?
