Hi ReeAnn, I will be praying for you. You have given me something to think

about regarding my daughter. She is 31 and she has very dry eyes and dry

mouth. Her lips are so dry when she puts on her lipstick it cracks and the

lipstick becomes very dry on her lips. She also has bowel problems. No

pancreas problems though. Thank God. Please let us know what the blood test

Hi ReeAnn,

I was just tested for Sjogren's too. I have dry eyes-the test my eye

doc did was this-he put a fluid in my eye that was neon or

something. It was supposed to break up in 15-20 seconds and that

would show that you had dry eye syndrome. Mine broke up in less than

7 seconds! Then, I have been complaining about dry mouth for years.

I have been tested for diabetes since it runs in my family, and it

keeps coming back negative. So a few weeks ago my GP called an

internist and that guy suggested Sjogren's. I, like you, wanted it

to come back positive because then I would at least have an answer.

Nope, it wasn't to be. So that's a good thing because it is a

progressive autoimmune disease, but I am back to square one as far as

the rest goes. We get to the point where we want anything as long as

it is an answer! Take care and I hope it comes back with something

you can live with.
