Guest guest
Hello Alan, I am the person who posted my situation with my rising psa after being treated at LLUMC. I was surprised to see that someone copied and pasted my post from another yahoo group (proton info). Your comments are appreciated and I thank you. I am very concerned. I actually made a typo and my latest psa is not 4.6 but 4.3. A little back ground on me. I was diagnosed at 42 years old (now 44 yrs, PSA 8.6, Stage TC1, Gleason 4+3 in one of my cores, balance were 3+4, 3+3, 3+3. 4 out of 12 cores came back positive. I never had any symptons and still do not to this date. I'm very healthy and exercise regularly. My MD didn't like my rising PSA test after a routine physical exam so he referred to a urologist who performed the biopsy and then the PCa was discovered. On December 6th I have a meeting scheduled with my urologist along with a oncologist. I've contact LLUMC and waiting for my doctor to give me his impression/opinion. In the meantime I'm hoping and praying this is not a reocurrance and maybe like you mentioned prostatitis. In any case thank you for your insight, it's appreciated. Don M.
