Thanks for the info. I am trying to avoid doing the needle thing as I've had a life-long

hatred of them. I would have to have my sister do it for me.

I was on 25 mg of oral MTX for several years. The doctor switched me to the injectable - 25 mg or 1cc because he did not want to go any higher with the oral and felt that the injectable route would give an additional "bump" because of better absorption. He was right!

I had always heard that the max dosage in pill form was 20mg. To go above that you had to go to the injections.
