I have VVS and vaginismus and I went off my birth control months ago, with hopes of helping the pain. I did not have a single benefit from stopping it, and in fact, I want to go back on it soon because now I have heavy, irregular, painful periods again. However, I know that some women have had major improvement from stopping birth control. Mine was high in estrogen so it was one of the better ones: Ovcon 35. But some other women here probably know more than me about this. I hope you find your answer! -
