Guest guest
Surely just tell Joyce we all are caring and following. I, too, leave to those of you doing so to talk to her and keep us updated. You carry our love for her with you. Now to your cataract surgery, Sher. The best of luck. You're going to be shocked afterwards when you realize how poorly you've been seeing and how good you are then. Now, you do whatever the doctor says. Side note to Rosebud: Be tough with her although its not your style because you're so gentle, but make her take proper care. > > Peggy... when you call Joyce again, please tell her I send her warm hugs! She is probably receiving lots of phone calls and if we can " double-up " it will not tire her or have her repeat everything over and over. I'll be watching for updates on her. > I'm sure you are so excited about company coming and you going to San An. I wish I could go too but I'll enjoy the pictures. > My cataract surgery is Mon. > Hugs. > Mama-Sher, 69; IPF, 3-06, OR. > Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! > > > > > This is Joyces phone in her new room. > > > Joyce has been transferred to the " TMU unit " of the hospital, where she will stay through the end of her stay there. Guest guest
Mama-Sher, I hope your cataract surgery goes well. My dad has had it done on both eyes and he said it makes a world of difference. He breezed through it and hopefully you will do the same. I will keep you in my prayers. Hope all goes well and if I can do anything, just give a shout!! CaroBruce Moreland wrote: Surely just tell Joyce we all are caring and following. Guest guest
Thanks Bruce and Caro for good wishes (you too Peggy) re: the cataract surgery. I'm feeling positive about it. As I said previously, my poor vision is now my "normal" vision. I'm told by others I will be shocked at the difference. Any improvement will be wonderful! I'm taking another day or two off the computer. Everyone be good....well, I'll have to check in about Joyce anyway. later...... Guest guest
Sher, Just talked to Joyce and she is doing really well. She said she had a hot flash feeling when they first gave her the medication. They will increase the dose daily until she gets where her Dr. wants her. She says Hello to everyone and thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. God is indeed good.I just pray I can have an attitude like Joyce does. We laughed so hard. She is a nut. Love and Prayers, Peggyipf 6/04Worry looks around.Sorry looks back,Faith looks up. Thanks Bruce and Caro for good wishes (you too Peggy) re: the cataract surgery. I'm feeling positive about it. Guest guest
Peggy... laughter is so good for the soul. I continue to be amazed at the endurance of the human body and spirit. I hope I can handle myself as well when the time comes. Hugs.
