Guest guest
Dear Irene, Apart from echoing everyone's disgust at your RI's response all I can add is that he/she is VERY inexperienced when it comes to the vagaries of cyberspace. So WHAT if he/she did get Porn in his/her e-mail...that's NOT hard to get with constant internet use......grow up RI & improve your spam/ spy-ware hunter etc filter! The RI in question could be well advised to grow a sense of percpective & add a dash of HUMOUR to his/her outlook! I managed to get a corrupted file years ago in 'My Pictures' & sent some questionable material out to my brother who was MOST surprised the fact that it was attached as an extra image to the wedding photo of our grandparents DID make it rather funny BUT I can assure you all that I have NEVER EVER visited porn sites.....(don't need to, my imagination serves me just FINE thank you all - now BWBB DON'T Start on THIS thread!) I deleted everything on that file, did a repair job, a virus scan etec etc & so far haven't been revisited by any more 'surprises". WARNING to all users of cyberspace....ANY of us can get 'unexpected' messages from time to time..it goes with the territory! Good luck in finding better Medical assistance Irene, can your GI recommend someone ? Hugs, in Oz

Guest guest
I can assure you much more controlled than my reaction when she told me about it. I still sit here a bit stunned. Thank goodness her GI is showing himself to be very caring. She talked to him today even and he gave her what she needed. The contrast is so overwhelming. Just can't understand all that over an email you didn't want and then porn that came from who knows where. Guess her computer doesn't have a delete button. I had by contrast a good experience with my Primary's nurse this week than I sent an email complimenting her and him, since he establishes the attitude. I needed to schedule a CT, actually desired by other doctors but done through him so repeated on same equipment. I called her. She returned call promptly. This was on Wednesday. Scheduled it for Friday as I hoped. Then after on Friday, I called to see if they had the results. Got none of this haven't looked yet, but rather she had doctor look and she called me with the results. When I thanked her for getting back with me quickly on Friday, she said " well I know how it is to worry all weekend. " Someone who actually understands that Monday is three days after Friday. Some seem to think its one hour later. But its just the way Dr. Stack is and is. CT Friday, results Friday. Call, call promptly returned. Sounds simple until you read other stories. > > > > > > Dear Irene, > > > Apart from echoing everyone's disgust at > > your > > > RI's response all I can add is that he/she is VERY inexperienced > > when it > > > comes to the vagaries of cyberspace. Guest guest
Thanks for the update, Bruce. Bless her heart!! Please give her my best wishes if you talk to her. She continues to either see him or talk to him about every day including over the weekend and is on medications. I'm surprised he hasn't admitted her yet as she hasn't really had anything of substance to eat in ages. She occasionally has has one or two bites of a sandwich or chicken. Her sister took her grocery shopping the other night and she got lots of liquids and baby food. Meanwhile she keeps battling while waiting for a solution.CaroAsthma 1976,Osteoarthritis 2002, COPD 02/06, IPF 08/06, UIP 01/08Mississippi Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
Right now she's taking Cipro & Flagyl 500mg each, Methotrexate Entocort, Gravol, Remicade for this. They are hoping that will get it under control with her Crohn's treatment which is now scheduled for next week. > CT Scan showed thickening of bowel, meaning she may be starting to > obstruct.
