I hope you don’t mind me contacting you but I wanted to send a brief email to introduce you to Everyman. Everyman is a campaign run by The Institute of Cancer Research to raise awareness of, and fund research into, testicular and prostate cancers at The Everyman Centre - Europe's first and only centre dedicated to researching male cancers.

Everyman was launched in 1997 because the incidence of prostate and testicular cancers was rising dramatically and a lack of funds meant that too little research had been carried out.

Like the York Prostate Cancer Support Group we are a passionate organisation dedicated to improving the lives of men who are affected by male cancers. As a campaign, Everyman, is always looking to raise as much awareness of male cancers as possible and we like to take an open and pro-active approach in order to promote our life-saving work.

For your personal interest I wondered whether it would be possible please to post some information on Everyman for the support group and yourself to read to give you a better overview of the campaign’s work. If you would please send me a postal address and I will be more than happy to post it out to you.
