Zena,

Sending my very best. I'll be thinking of you. Hope all goes smoothly and you get home quick!!!!

Beth in NC age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06

"For as long as I shall live, I will testify to Love."

I won't be around for a few days.

I have a bed at the hospital today, so I'll be off in a little while. It's 12.40 pm here, we'll be picking Lili up from school at 3.30 and then making our way. I'm all packed, including stuff to make the food more bareable

This is the first round of evaluation test for a transplant, so lets see what they have to say. They expect me to be in for about 3 days, but they weren't that organised the last time I was there. Lets hope they're a bit better this time.

Send love strength and healing vibes to those that need it.

The best of luck. Have we had anyone previously from the UK go

through the process? I'm very happy for you Zena that you're getting

this opportunity.

I'll be praying for you Zena. How exactly does this evaluation work?

Once they run all the appropriate tests, they determine if your

lung(s) are bad enough to warrant a new lung??? I'll also pray for

your little girl because I'm sure it will be hard on her being away

from her Mommy. Not sure if you're married, but if so...him as well.

Please take care of yourself and know that we will be thinking of you

and sending the very best of VIBES your way!

Hugs,

Dawn in N.B.

Wonder how much of that they even let her have. The tests are mind

boggling. Now the one thing my hospitals do have going for them now,

although transplant hospital doesn't, is they now have menus and room

service so you order what you want when you want. Last time I had

Filet Mignon two nights.

I hope you are close to being finished with your first evaluations

and the results are " good " . I just bet you will be glad to get home

with your family and to your own bed!

Mmmm-mmmm!!! Throw on an extra piece and I’ll be

right over! LOL! Actually, I’m having left over lasagna

from last night. Sounds good too, except

it bothered my stomach all last evening. Guess I’m a sucker for punishment! HA!
