Guest guest
Annie thank you so much for your reply, i really appreciate it. I posted a brief medical history of mine a little while ago, it can be found on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisorders/message/54348. The itching is constant but some days are better than others. I don't know if i've ever had a yeast culture, i just know that i've been tested for it and given medication for it even though i have only been positive for it once. The vulvar pain i have on the other hand that you'll read about in the medical history post, i'm not always aware of only when it is touched. I used hydrocortisone and vagisil on and off. I used steroid creams too but stopped with that as well. The doctor who diagnosed me with VV told me to use lidocaine nightly so i've been using that. It does help a little bit but not entirely. With the items y ou suggested for itch relief such as vinegar, how did you adminster that? Did you make a bath with it or did you just wipe it on the area? Thanks again so much! It helps to talk to someone going through similar things. I was starting to feel rather alone.
