Dear ,

Good link, I mostly agree on the entries BUT I've never heard of NS

Welshmen being called 'Cockroaches' ! We're more likely to call a

sausage a 'Banger' rather than 'Snag' ...we eat 'Bangers n' Mash' or a

'Barbie Banger' or even a 'Soddie' ..don't know where 'sang' went to in

common usage!

Suitcase = Port (as in Portmanteau) in NSW, while ns &

South Austrailans say 'Suitcase' 'cos THEY like to think they're a rung

up the ladder on the rest of us !

Bathing Suit (for swimming in!) = Togs/Swimmers/Bathers in VIC &

S.A. (AGAIN for same reason as above!!!)/ Budgie Smugglers are for

the fellas in the old fashioned Speedos (young blokes these days wear

'Boardies' = Board Shorts...young blokes are Sooooo SHY!)

Need I say more........................

Check ya later!
