Yes, I've messaged with her during the day. She had the VQ this

morning and waiting on results from her GI. She's still in a lot of

pain but still going somehow. She was a little frozen and that was

before the fact that Toronto is having their largest snowfall of the

year. I know she's going to still suffer with the Crohn's outbreak

caused by the injection made where it shouldn't have been to anyone

with Crohns for a bit. However, her GI seems to be taking action and

recognizing her condition, so at least there is a plan. For instance,

he was going to do the VQ on Monday and he changed it to today. Going

to move some of her regular treatments up due to current condition.

So, pain, persevering, and finally a doctor caring and with a plan of

treatment and clearly stating the cause of the current problems were

the mistakes made in the ER. Did say she ate a banana muffin, but

didn't say how much, so suspect a couple of bites. Eating does

increase the pain but she's trying and been told to drink lots of

liquids.
