I am writing to you in hope you can give me some information on RELAPSING POLYCHONDRITIS .I just now today discovered the page abut that decease.My husband has had it since 1996 but was not diagnosed until Jan.1997. It was confirmed by the Mayo Clinic in April of 1997. I did notice a rapid hearing lose in the last 6 months.I would like to know if someone else has the problem and how can we stop the hearing lose. He has been in remission for quit sometimes now. I do not know of anyone else with this problem here in the Tulsa area.I do not know where to turn to, to learn more about it. Guest guest Posted January 31, 2000 Report Share Posted January 31, 2000 heidi welcome to the grooup. we lived in germany for four year from 1976-1980. we had a wonderful tour of duty (my hsband was in the air force) we were stationd at ramstein air force base in langerkoph and my husbane actually worked on a mountain site in tripstad. we traveled a much as we could while we were there-to switzerland, austria, france spain, luxemborg, holland etc. actually went camping on the zeider zee in hollad in the winter 9(we like to reeze to death too hah). my favoirte lace was garmisch-partenkirchen. such a beutiful area. perhaps someday i wll return for a visit. while my husband was in the air force we also lived in greece fo hree years. it wassuch a wonderful experience o live in europe.my youngest daughter (now 22 ) was actually born in germant in landsthul. welcome to the group. perhaps we can d some reminiscing love denise Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
