Guest guest
Angie: Great idea on a reserve fund. I'd be happy to help if you set up a committee. Don't always want things to fall on you. You have so much going all the time. Does mind getting phone calls? I don't want to add to her situation by her getting tons of calls, but would like to say Hi and that I care. Let me know if you think it would be ok or if it would be better to have you represent our group and make the calls. I only want to do what is absolutely the most helpful for her. , are you ok? Figure she must not be on the computer lately or would have heard from her. Hope everything is ok there. Wonder if we should call the main ones in the group and let them know what happened if they haven't posted recently. I'd be happy to make some calls if needed. I know that if I had been off line, I would want to have known so that I could send a card. Let me know what you think about this. Hope everyone has a good week and takes one day at a time and appreciates all God does for us because if can be gone so quickly. Times like this make me very thankful to the lord and refocuses on all the good I have in my life. I am amazed at how hard I am taking 's dad's death so I imagine alot of others are too. I am truly greatful for all that this group has given me and what wonderful people are in the group and share. Guest guest
since this list was formed I am constantly amazed at the love and concern that flows through it. I was also hit hard by 's Dad's death probably because she means sio much to me and I can't be there to wrap my arms around her. That is what is a killer not being able to be there for her. As you know I also have another group and I know my family can't get over how " strangers " can care so much for each other. We are strangers since we haven't seen each other face to face. I have tried to explain to Jerry countless times that we aren't strangers at all. I know most people on the list, their spouses and some of the kids, we talk about more than our aches and pains we are friends more like extended family not strangers. It boggles his mind. When I recently had been off line and I received so many phone calls of love and support fro both lists. it just blew him away. Your right I think the older members if not online should be notified. I personally write to Arto about it I knew they were close friends. too. just in case he didn't get a chance to read list mail for a few days. He responded so he knows. let me know what you want to do. Roy can you call Eunice and let her know just in case she wants to send a card or something. I'll be happy to call if I have phone numbers. Want to make sure I don't offend anyone if I forget or didn't realize they weren't contacted. Are both Donna's still with the group? Guest guest
Hi Angie: here. I agree that if someone went no mail with the group we probably shouldn't contact them. Probably only the ones that are still on the active mail and that we haven't heard from. Does that make sense to you?
