Guest guest
Anyone hear a recent update on the Phase III Abiraterone trial that is supposed to open to post-Chemo advanced PCa patients? http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01217697?term=abiraterone+and+prostate+cancer & recr=Open & rank=4 I'm going to have to make a change in treatments in the next few weeks as it appears DES is no longer working. We are investigating Provenge, Abiraterone Phase II and the Abiraterone Phase III above. -- Emersonwww.flhw.orgEvery 2.25 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer. Here is a list of treatment trials from the National Cancer Institute search engine for hormone refractory PCa. The same trials are listed at both NCI and ClinicalTrials.gov - they exchange information with each other, but the NCI search mechanism is different, maybe better. There are some other Abiraterone related trials, though the one you found looks most interesting because it's Phase III. http://www.cancer.gov/search/ResultsClinicalTrials.aspx?protocolsearchid=8427664 Best of luck. Guest guest
Crikey, . Sorry to hear your bad news on DES. I wish you much success on the next leg of the relay. Hopefully, it will all spread out far enough to include us all in the cure which has yet to be uncovered. Be strong--you've got more disc golf in your future.
