am i glad it came back on last night. thursdays just didn't seem the

same with it not being on! and i must say that i was surprised that "

johnny fairplay " wanted to be voted out to go home. because we all know

what a cheater and liar he was the last time! but i must say he seems

to have changed for the better! way to go johnny! proud of you!

The one thing of all the years and history of Survivor that does annoy

me is giving ny Fairplay the a career in tv. I would have never

brought him back for anything under any conditions. Yes, its a game and

anything goes...no, almost anything. I do think there is ultimately

some line and I just personally think he crossed it. Making him a

greater celebrity because of such a deplorable lie just bothers me. Its

one thing to lie about how you're going to vote-thats the game. But

talking about the death of a family member is not part of the game,

thats the real world. So, thats a real world lie to friends and

acquaintances.

But now I'm the one who thinks American Idol shouldn't give 15 minutes

of fame to those who curse everyone out when told they won't go to

Hollywood.

But I know I'm weird. I've refused for a long time to join the attacks

on Britney Spears. Long ago I recognized this was a young girl with

serious mental health issues. Yes, I disapprove of her actions. But,

when I think of her as a person, all I feel is sorrow and concern. I

hope its not too late for her to get help and somehow turn her life

around. What a tragedy to have all the fame and money in the world and

to basically have lost everything of value in the world.
