Hi all,

There is " Bronchiecstasis " and then there is " Traction

Bronchiecstasis. " The former issue (of which there are 3

manifestations) is caused by inflammation and the latter is a product

of lung scarring i.e. Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Thus it is quite common for us to see the word in our radiological

analysis.

Hi ,

Now I am confused. Is mine cause by scarring and your from inflammation or vice versa? Thank- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California
